If anyone lives in certain more rural parts of Malaysia, they will know the pain of the search for quality things to buy. This pain is doubled for artist who cannot find a large amount of art supplies. //cries together//
You guys who have Michael's and Dick Blick are so lucky you don't even know.
So this is the first post of hopefully what will be many posts on the better places to buy things.
The shop of this post is an art shop called U Tech, and I swear. THE best art shop you can find in Kuching. It easily rivals Technographic.
I don't have the full address or pictures right now, but I will upload them soon. I was in a rush plus high on art shop adrenaline so... I forgot.
But anyway, just to give you a taste of said shop, it has:
-clay
-Sakura paints
-FREAKING MICRON PENS MAN
-wooden models
-assorted types of graphic markers (though sadly, no Copics or brush markers.)
-canvases
-masking fluid (DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD THIS IS TO FIND OVER HERE)
-linseed oil
-paints of every kind
-and helpful staff.
So, all in all, for Kuching, this is seriously good I mean like 10/10 would recommend.
Till next time.
